Board on the vessel at around 3:30 PM/09.30am for cruising in the river sitalakha . As soon as the guests are on board the boat will start cruising upstream in the river. Boat will reach Murapara Zamindar Palace area and we will drop by small Boat to Pear.

Murapara Zamindar Palace was built during 1890 by Ramratan Banarjee. He was a trusted person of a British Indigo Planter during the British Colonial period. At that time when the indigo planter left the country after the death of his daughter, he gifted plenty of gold and money to Ramratan. Using those, he built this mammoth palace. During the war 1971, many ornate portion of the palace was plundered by people. We came to know that there were two statues of lions at the gate of the palace boundary, and both of them stolen that time. After the war, this palace was used as a refugee camp for the non-Bengali people & local people established a college using the building.

This building was renovated several times, and now a days, it just lost all it’s heritage. But still you can visit the palace for your weekend or any other holidays. There are two large ponds located at the palace premise. One at the front side and another one at the back side. You can take your sit at the bench made from stone (once upon a time, now no stone existing, only brick) to get some fresh air. In addition there is an old temple available inside the palace premise. It’s just in front of the pond. This palace is easily see the river Shitalakkhya (শীতলক্ষ্যা).

Under British colonialism, the Bengali Jamdani and muslin industries rapidly declined due to colonial import policies favoring industrially manufactured textiles. In more recent years, the production of Jamdani has witnessed a revival in Bangladesh.

The traditional art of weaving Jamdani has been declared by UNESCO as an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.} Jamdani which is one of the finest muslin textiles is mainly

originated from Bangladesh. The people of Bangladesh are making Jamdani for centuries. It is one of the most time and labor-intensive forms of weaving hand loom weaving.

• Smoking and any kind of fire are strictly prohibited inside the cabin.
• Any kind of Food strictly prohibited inside the cabin.
• Be economic in use of any kind of water and electricity.
• Have your meals in time, for smooth management.
• Take care of your valuables.
• Keep a watch to your children.

Don’ts While in the Cruise:

• While inside the Zomidar place or Jmdani polli, never be alone. Be in a group all the time.
• No harm to any plants and do not disturb the weaver of Jamdani.
• For any problem always talk to your guide only.
• Avoid the striking color (Red, Yellow etc.) in the jungle, use jungle – friendly dress.

Responsibility:

We will be responsible for the operation of the tours as per the itinerary under normal situation. For personal accident, sickness, loss of baggage during the tour, delay or cancellation of Bus, Train & Air for any political problem, natural disaster creating unusual situation to conduct a tour, etc. we shall not be directly responsible.  We will be responsible to extend all possible assistance in overcoming those problems. In this circumstances guest(s) must pay any extra cost incurred overcome those problems. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend any tour, should the situation warrant such action in our operation, on should such situation a refund of proportionate amount will be made. The Dinner cruise Management reserves the right to accept or refuse any participant as a member of a tour package.

Booking & Confirmation:

• Prior confirmation of booking is always necessary to available our tours and services date
• A tour or service may be considered as confirmed only after an advance payment of 50%.
• The remaining payment has to be made before 10 Days of tour date.

Cancellation or Shifting For any Booking:

• 20% will be charged if any cancellation/ shifting less than 30 days before departure.
• 30% will be charged if any cancellation /shifting less than 20 days before departure.
• 50% will be charged if any cancellation/ shifting less than 15 days before departure.
• 75% will be charged if any cancellation/ shifting less than 07 days before departure.
• Full amount will be forfeited if cancellation/ shifting less than 5 days before departure.

If any political problem, Natural disaster or Transport schedule change or any additional service needed, we arrange as per group requirement and additional cost out of package will born by Guest. Operating Company will not be responsible for that additional expenditure.
